Liturgicraft – The Triquetra

The Triquetra – a symbol loaded with meaning!

It is made up of three equal half circles. This emphasizes the equality of the Persons of the Trinity.

The three half circles are united into one symbol, representing the union of the Divine Persons.

In the center of the triquetra, an equilateral triangle is formed, which is about the oldest symbol for the Trinity.

When the bonus circle is woven through the triquetra, it is symbolic of the eternal nature of the Trinity.
